CORONADO OUTRIGGER
OUTRIGGER HOE WANA'AO
Imua KaKou (moving forward together)
In 2022, we are transitioning to Coronado Outrigger as our racing name while Outrigger Hoe Wana'ao remains our legal entity name. Our home practice site has been located in Coronado, CA since 2015 and we would like to embrace and represent the community we love and are a part of.
Keiki (kids) Program
Through the use of positive encouragement and training, we strive to give kids the opportunity to be the best they desire to be.
The Outrigger Hoe Wana'ao Keiki (Youth) program will take place starting summer 2017.

Take part in an amazing Hawaiian cultural experience at our outrigger paddling camp! Youth will learn the fundamentals of paddling a Hawaiian outrigger canoe including the role of each paddler, canoe care, safety procedures, rigging and stroke techniques. Paddlers will learn about teamwork, responsibility, and build trust and self-confidence. Plus, they will learn Hawaiian terminology and culture. Our paddling ohana (family) welcomes all levels of experience, from beginners to those with previous paddling experience.
